Whitepine Entertainment LLC — Artist talent and management agency with full recording studio

Located in the northwestern Montana woods, Whitepine Entertainment, LLC is the place that Nat Burgess and Jackie Ferraro go to work everyday. On a 22 acre retreat, surrounded by millions of acres of national forest, these award-winning industry veterans serve a variety of clients in the music and performing arts industry. They offer artist management, tour management, talent buying, & event management to clients both large and small. The recent completion of The Studio up Whitepine Creek, a 32-track digital recording studio, allows them to offer recording services for small professional projects.

With a combined 70+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, both Jackie and Nat keep professionalism, integrity and fiscal responsibility in mind when working on any project.

It started with a guitar in 1962. Since then, Nat Burgess, former Executive Vice President of APA, watched as his career in the music business grew to include playing with and then representing some of the biggest artists in the music world.

A struggling musician playing in small clubs and church basements with the likes of Joe Walsh, Nat ultimately began his booking career at the William Morris Agency in 1973. Nat landed a job in the famed mailroom of the Morris office. He went on to become an assistant in the concert department, and was eventually made an agent with responsibility for a mid-west territory. While at William Morris during the 70's Nat had the opportunity to work with both established and emerging artists, and was involved with many of the acts that are considered legends today.

In 1984 Nat had the opportunity to move to APA (also known as Agency for the Performing Arts) where he eventually became a partner. While in New York Nat was responsible for APA's music departments in Nashville, New York and Los Angeles, and was overall head of the Manhattan office. He worked to expand the music program, to train agents, and to book artists in venues around the world. In 1995 he began to concentrate on the lucrative casino market and successfully placed many artists in these and other "non-traditional" venues.

In June of 2005 Nat opted to leave the agency world. He and his wife, Jaclyn Ferraro, established Whitepine Entertainment, a talent management and consulting company in northwest Montana where they are surrounded by 2.5 million acres of national forest and there's no cell service.

Much to the distress of her parents. Jackie suffered early on-set obsession with the performing arts, becoming a member of her community theatre youth group at the age of 11. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre and Design from Florida Atlantic University, and much to the surprise of her parents worked steadily in theatrical production from 1973 through 1989. After spending the better part of 6 years traveling the US, Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Europe with several dance and theatre companies, Jackie took a position with a major gaming concern and began her journey from theatre production management to the corporate entertainment world…much to the relief of her parents.

Following the successful completion of 5 major entertainment development and construction projects, including Caesars & Resorts in Atlantic City, The American Queen in New Orleans, the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, and Boyd Gaming in Las Vegas, she now enjoys buying talent for her clients from her office deep in the Kootenai National Forest of northwestern Montana. She shares this astounding place with her husband, Nat Burgess, 4 dogs, 3 cats, and an assortment of wildlife-some stuffed, most not.
